#Thread [On the Occasion of demise anniversary of Lady Fatima al-Masuma daughter of Imam Musa al-Kadim (as).] She was raised under the care of two Imams - her father and her brother - and is said to have absorbed their knowledge and piety.

When she was ten years old, Harun al-Rashid, the Abbasid Caliph of the time sent her father to prison. This separation was very difficult for Fatima, but her brother 'Ali al-Rida was 25 years her senior and took good care of her.

This was until al-Mamun, another Abbasid caliph summoned Imam al-Rida from Medina to Khorasan and Fatima was forced to live apart from her brother. One year after this separation, she decided to join her brother, so she headed for Iran in a caravan of her relatives.

Upon their arrival to Saveh, they had a bloody confrontation with the enemies of Ahl al-Bayt. There she watched her family members and close relatives get killed and this made her very ill so she asked to be taken to Qom, where she departed this world without seeing her brother.
