📣 Statement by the Secretariat of the Supreme National Security Council Regarding the Latest Developments in Negotiations to End the Third Imposed War 🔸 As previously communicated by the Secretariat of the Supreme National Security Council to the noble people of Iran, following the defeat of the aggressors attacking dear Iran on the battlefield, thanks to the historic and unparalleled resistance of our people and armed forces, starting from the tenth day of the war, the Americans began sending messages and requests for a ceasefire and negotiations to end the war they themselves had started. The Islamic Republic of Iran, on the fortieth day of the war, and following the official announcement by the President of the United States accepting Iran's 10-point plan as the framework for ending the war negotiations, accepted to conduct these negotiations in Islamabad with the mediation of the friendly and brotherly country of Pakistan. 🔸 These negotiations lasted for 21 hours continuously. The Iranian delegation raised and pursued the demands of the Iranian people with seriousness and initiative amidst the peak of distrust toward the United States. 🔸 Although the enemy had agreed before the start of negotiations to operate within the framework of Iran's 10-point plan, during the negotiations, they raised new and excessive demands. These were met with the firm stance of the Iranian delegation, making them realize that the Islamic Republic of Iran, backed by the power of the fighters on the battlefield and the honor, dignity, and vigilance of the people present on the scene, would in no way compromise its positions. Therefore, this stage of the negotiations ended without a specific result, and their continuation was postponed to another time when the enemy abandons its excessive demands and revises its requests in accordance with the realities of the battlefield facing the victorious and triumphant Iran. 🔸 In recent days, with the presence of the Commander of the Pakistani Army in Tehran as a mediator and intermediary in the negotiations, new proposals have been raised by the Americans, which the Islamic Republic of Iran is currently reviewing and has not yet responded to. 🔸 We hereby declare to our great nation, the fighters on the battlefield, and the brave and valiant people present in the squares and streets of cities and villages across the country: the Iranian negotiating delegation, relying on Almighty God and backed by the support of the people, the steel-like determination, and the power of the fiery weapons of the fighters, has entered the political battlefield to consolidate the magnificent and historic victories of the Iranian nation in this unjust and imposed war. It will not compromise, retreat, or make concessions even by the width of a needle's tip. With all its might, it will defend the interests and welfare of the Iranian nation and honor the precious and valuable blood shed in this war to preserve the independence, dignity, and honor of Iran, especially the pure blood of our beloved leader, dearer than our own lives. 🔸 One of the necessary prerequisites for Iran's acceptance of a temporary ceasefire was the cessation of fire on all fronts, including Lebanon. However, the Zionist enemy violated this from the very beginning through savage attacks on the country of Lebanon and the heroic Hezbollah. 🔸 Due to the pressure exerted by the Islamic Republic of Iran, the Zionist regime agreed to a ceasefire in Lebanon. It was agreed that if the enemy observes the ceasefire on all fronts, the Strait of Hormuz will be conditionally opened temporarily until the end of the ceasefire period solely for the passage of commercial ships and non-military vessels of hostile countries. This will be under the control and authorization of the Iranian Armed Forces and via a route designated by Iran, excluding military vessels.
