📣 Message from Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Khamenei, Leader of the Islamic Revolution, on the occasion of the National Persian Gulf Day ✍ In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful 🔸 One of the unparalleled blessings of God the Almighty for the Muslim nations of our region, especially the noble people of the Islamic Republic of Iran, is the gift of the "Persian Gulf." A blessing greater than a blue expanse that has shaped part of our identity and civilization, and in addition to being a point of connection between nations, it has created a vital and unique global economic route through the Strait of Hormuz and beyond to the Gulf of Oman. 🔸 This strategic asset has aroused the greed of many devils in past centuries, and the history of repeated foreign invasions by Europeans and Americans, insecurities, damages, and numerous threats to the countries of the region, is just a glimpse of the evil plans of the world's arrogant powers against the inhabitants of the Persian Gulf region, the most recent example of which is the recent hijacking by the Great Devil. 🔸 The people of Iran, who have the longest coastline on the Persian Gulf, have made the greatest sacrifices in the path of the independence of the Persian Gulf and against foreigners and aggressors; from expelling the Portuguese and liberating the Strait of Hormuz, which led to the designation of the 10th of Ordibehesht as National Persian Gulf Day, to the struggle against Dutch colonialism and the heroic resistance against British colonialism... We are "fate-sharing" with our neighbors in the blue expanse of the Persian Gulf and the Gulf of Oman, while foreigners who are thousands of kilometers away greedily commit evil there, having no place except at the bottom of its waters.
