🎥 Fire; US destroyer disabled in the Pacific Ocean
🔸 American media reported that the US Navy destroyer "USS Higgins" was disabled in the Pacific Ocean after a widespread fire, remaining without power and propulsion for a period of time.
🔸 According to CBS News, the fire occurred in one of the main technical sections of the vessel, causing a power outage and disabling the propulsion system of the "Arleigh Burke" class destroyer; a situation referred to in naval terminology as "dead in the water."
🔸 This incident occurred as the US Navy has recently faced questions regarding operational readiness and the obsolescence of some of its equipment.
🔸 Prior to this, the aircraft carrier "USS Gerald R. Ford" had also faced criticism due to problems related to new technology systems and reliability challenges.

📣 Warning from America's largest companies: We are approaching the oil port
🔸 Bloomberg wrote: America's largest oil companies are warning that the longer the Strait of Hormuz remains closed, the closer the global crude oil market will come to a turning point with higher prices.
🔸 These companies say that for every day this waterway remains closed, the world is consuming commercial reserves, strategic reserves, and crude oil that was stored in tanks and ships before the war between the US and Israel and Iran began.
🔸 ExxonMobil, Chevron, and ConocoPhillips announced this week that these resources helped "contain" prices through March and April, but this situation cannot continue forever.

🎥 Bloomberg: Germany is preparing its ports for a potential war
🔸 Europe's largest automotive port in Bremerhaven, located on the North Sea coast of Germany, is being rebuilt and strengthened with an investment of 1.35 billion euros.
🔸 This government project, budgeted for 2026 in Germany, is designed not for the export of Mercedes-Benz and Volkswagen cars, but to prepare loading docks for transporting heavy military equipment, including 60-ton Leopard tanks.
🔸 This move is part of a broader program to prepare Europe's largest economy against potential military threats. Given Germany's central location in Europe and its significant industrial capacities, Berlin can play a central role in supplying equipment and supporting troops in the event of a military conflict.

📣 CNN: A war with Iran could destabilize or even shatter the US economy
🔸 A sharp increase in energy prices following a war with Iran would place direct pressure on American consumers and reduce household spending power; an issue that would lead to weakened economic growth.
🔸 This situation could lead to reduced demand; where rising costs reduce consumption and investment, leaving companies facing falling demand. At the same time, higher inflation and geopolitical uncertainty increase the risk of slowing or even an economic recession.
