📣 Al Jazeera: 70% of Middle Eastern Oil Has No Alternative Route to the Strait of Hormuz
🔸 Al Jazeera reports that disruptions in the Strait of Hormuz have reduced oil production across the region by more than 14 million barrels per day, inflicting over $15 billion in losses during the first weeks of the war against Iran.
🔸 The report adds that although countries such as Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates have tried to mitigate the impact by using existing pipeline networks, more than 70% of the oil produced by the Gulf states still has no viable alternative to the Strait of Hormuz.
