🏴Hurr ibn Yazid Riyahi Hurr was from the prominent families of Iraq and one of the great men of Kufa. He was the commander of the army of Ibn Ziyad and blocked the way of the Imam. On the morning of Ashura, he separated the army of Umar Sa’ad on the pretext of watering his horse, and joined the Imam asking forgiveness. He fought bravely and was martyred.
