Azar 16 stands for the student anti-colonialism and objectification of the lofty ideals. Azar 16 is not only a symbol of the student anti-colonialism but also a representation of knowledge and objectification of lofty ideals of revolution and scientific and spiritual achievements as well. Today the martyrs of Azar 16,1332 (equivalent of December 7, 1953) ; Mustafa Bozorgnia, Mehdi Shariat Razavi and Ahmad Ghandchi, have dedicated a page of history to themselves to be considered as an examplar for the students in advocating of Islamic revolution ideals in the shade of teachings such as Ashurah uprising as a symbol of persistence and uprising. Moreover, throughout history, the awareness of Iranian Muslim students has been also recorded in various, social, political and economic fields. Therefore, following the victory of Islamic revolution, the students' functions and accountabilities have been serious and sensitive both in the field of education, associated with attaining the scientific peaks, and in the field of promoting the culture in society, which pave the proper way for the other achievements, that in addition to eloquence in the scientific, educational and research scopes, one should also be sensitive to social and political events and occasions of society and conduct the path of one's destiny and society through the effort and forsight.
