The #Ghadir incident is not a mere #historical_event. . Rather, it is an inspiring historical event that is part of the #fateful history of #Islam. . On the way back from the last #Hajj of the #Prophet (PBUH), there was a passage 15 km from #Jahfa, an area called #Rabiq, where the following verse was revealed: . [O Apostle! Communicate that which has been sent down to you from your Lord, and if you do not, you will not have communicated His message,...] . The #Holy Prophet PBUH was commissioned to officially announce the #governorship and #succession of #Amir_al-Mu'minin #Ali (AS) in this #region after him. . Before this, on different #occasions and in the hadith of Yom #al-Dar at the beginning of the mission of the Holy Prophet PBUH, when #Amir_al-Mu'minin stood up three times and declared his #allegiance to the Holy #Prophet. . Then, when the Prophet PBUH received the confirmation of the #acceptance of #monotheism, #prophecy and #resurrection from the people, he said: . Indeed, I leave between you two heavy and expensive things, that if you cling to them, you will never go #astray after me: the Book of #God and my #family. . That these two are #inseparable. Do not go #forward when you are destroyed and do not go #back when you are #destroyed. . The #Prophet asked: O people, who's more deserving of the lives of the #people than themselves? #Eve
