🎦 Sakina's Sorrowful Eyes | Sister Kulsoom Probably the most joyous of family members when a baby is born are the siblings of the newborn in the household. A baby is truly the life and joy of an older brother or sister. One such joy and spirit of a small household was Ali Asghar (A). His older sister was Sakina (A). An older sister, who was quite young herself, and yet had to witness so many griefs and sorrows with her young little eyes. Sister Kulsoom recites an elegy in ode to Imam Husayn (A)'s baby, Ali Asghar and Sakina, the younger daughter of Imam Husayn (A). 🎦 The Youthful Zeal of Habib ibn Mazahir | Br. Ali Murtaza Habib ibn Mazahir was a resident of the city of Kufa and was a Hafiz of the holy Qur'an. He was also a very old man. He had seen the days of Imam Ali (A). He had also seen the days of Imam Hasan (A). And now, times had truly turned for the worst. A drunkard claimed to be the Caliph of the Messenger of Allah (S). And so, Habib ibn Mazahir writes a letter to Imam Husayn (A), requesting him to save the Muslim Ummah. Br.
