الطَّمَعُ رِقٌّ مُؤَبَّدٌ .
طمعكارى ، بندگى هميشگى است .
Imam Ali (AS) said,
‘Greed is an eternal slavery.’
Nahj al-Balagha, Saying ۱۸۰

ولَو أرادَ اللَّهُ سبحانَهُ لأنبيائهِ حَيثُ بَعَثَهُم أن يَفتَحَ لَهُم كُنوزَ الذِّهْبانِ ، ومَعادِنَ العِقْيانِ ، ومَغارِسَ الجِنانِ ... لَفعَلَ ، ولَو فَعَلَ لَسَقَطَ البَلاءُ ، وبَطَلَ الجَزاءُ ...
و اگر خداوند سبحان، آن گاه كه پيامبرانش را برانگيخت، مى خواست گنجينه هاى طلا و كان هاى زرِ ناب و باغ هاى پر درخت را به رويشان بگشايد... هر آينه اين كار را مى كرد و اگر چنين مى كرد، آن گاه آزمايش از ميان مى رفت و پاداش منتفى مى شد... .
Imam Ali (as), '...If Allah had wished to open for His prophets treasures of gold, mines of pure gold and grounds of gardens, He would have done so, but if He did, tests would be invalid, and reward would be inapplicable

رسولُ اللَّهِ صلى اللَّه عليه وآله : لا تُحَقِّرنَّ أحَداً مِن المسلمينَ ، فإنَّ صَغيرَهُم عِند اللَّهِ كَبيرٌ .
هرگز هيچ مسلمانى را خوار و حقير مشمار؛ زيرا كوچك آنان هم نزد خداوند بزرگ است .
'Do not ever scorn any of the Muslims, for verily the lowest of them is great in the sight of Allah.'
