O Allah! Grant me this day a plenteous share of supererogatory devotions, favor me therein by carrying out my requests, and bring me near therein to the means of approach to You, O You who are not held up by the demands of the importunate.

ولَو أرادَ اللَّهُ سبحانَهُ لأنبيائهِ حَيثُ بَعَثَهُم أن يَفتَحَ لَهُم كُنوزَ الذِّهْبانِ ، ومَعادِنَ العِقْيانِ ، ومَغارِسَ الجِنانِ ... لَفعَلَ ، ولَو فَعَلَ لَسَقَطَ البَلاءُ ، وبَطَلَ الجَزاءُ ...
و اگر خداوند سبحان، آن گاه كه پيامبرانش را برانگيخت، مى خواست گنجينه هاى طلا و كان هاى زرِ ناب و باغ هاى پر درخت را به رويشان بگشايد... هر آينه اين كار را مى كرد و اگر چنين مى كرد، آن گاه آزمايش از ميان مى رفت و پاداش منتفى مى شد... .
Imam Ali (as), '...If Allah had wished to open for His prophets treasures of gold, mines of pure gold and grounds of gardens, He would have done so, but if He did, tests would be invalid, and reward would be inapplicable

خانه اى در بهشت است كه خانه شادى نام دارد . جز كسى كه يتيمانِ اهل ايمان را خرسند ساخته ، وارد آن نمى شود .
'There is a house in Heaven called the House of Happiness, which none shall enter except those who have made the orphans of the believers happy.'

الإمامُ عليٌّ عليه السلام : إنَّ أفضَلَ ما تَوَسَّلَ بهِ المُتَوَسِّلُونَ إلى اللَّهِ سبحانَهُ وتعالى، الإيمانُ بهِ وبرسولِهِ ... وصَدَقةُ السِّرِّ فإنّها تُكَفِّرُ الخَطيئةَ، وصَدَقةُ العَلانيَةِ فإنّها تَدفَعُ مِيتةَ السَّوءِ .
بهترين چيزى كه متوسّلان به خداوند سبحان و متعال به آن توسّل مى جويند ، ايمان به او و به پيامبر اوست و ...و صدقه پنهانى كه كفّاره گناهان، و صدقه آشكار كه دفع كننده مرگ بد و ناگهانی است.
Imam Ali (as), 'Giving charity secretly for verily it atones for one’s misdeeds, and giving charity openly for verily it protects against an undignified death.’
